Hi, my name is CArRiE McDougall and I live surrounded by forests and water on an island in the Pacific Northwest with my husband Steve and our St Bernard, Elli-Joe.

I can’t wait to meet you and hear all about your business! Since I am a one-woman-show I’ll be working directly with you on your project from beginning to end, and because not all designers are the same, let me walk you through what it’s like to work with me.
The Process
The adventure begins…
The very first step is to schedule a complimentary 20 minute consultation. You can easily schedule this using my on-line calendar and select to meet either via ZOOM or via phone (click the button below).

All the sites I design use the WordPress platform, and since every business is unique, I don’t rely on pre-made themes and custom design each site… no cookie-cutter sites for my clients! During this important first step, we’ll discuss your specific needs so I can determine the size and scope of your project. Will you need to be able to sell products or services on your site? Do you need it to collect email addresses for email marketing? Would it help your business to provide an on-line calendar? Do you want to offer member’s only content? Will your site include a blog?

What’s it going to cost?
Within a day or two I will take everything I learned from our consultation and prepare a Sitemap & Website Content Outline that includes my quote for the project. I want you to have a clear understanding of exactly what will be included and what it will cost. Once you approve of the outline and the price quoted, all you need to do is sign off, and we will get started! A deposit of 1/2 down will be required at this time.
Now We Get To Work
This is the fun part!
This is where I get to roll up my sleeves and get creative. Inspired by your unique style/brand and your target audience, I’ll spend some time designing the overall look & feel for your website that will include the colors and font selections that will be used throughout. I’ll give you a link so that you can review and even share with others for feedback. I want you to LOVE the way it looks!
Now we’re ready for content!
Once you are thrilled with the look & feel – it’s time for me to input all your content. Preparing your website’s content is no small task. I will make up a Content Checklist that I hope will help you keep track of what is needed and what is completed. You are free to schedule a ZOOM at anytime throughout this process if you need any help, inspiration, or just encouragment.
